Help yourself to improved recruitment results

Susan Scott, our Managing Director, is qualified in delivering a variety of psychometric instruments. In addition to their use in many of our development and executive coaching programmes we are often asked to use them in support of key recruitment or executive promotions.

Every new recruit and promoted employee is an investment in your organisation's future success. The better the quality of the recruit, the higher the return on investment. It is therefore critical that the selection process can identify the right person with the required skills and competencies as accurately as possible.

Our assessment process helps you improve that return on investment with effective psychometric assessments. Combining the interview process with one or more psychometric assessments enables you to gain a more rounded view of your candidates.

Psychometric assessments provides a more thorough and objective profile of a candidate which can be used to enhance, support and even drive the interview process. The process also enhances the 'recruitment image' and appeal of your organisation.

Your candidates undertake an on-line psychometric assessment that has been developed in the UK and is designed specifically for managerial and professional staff. Based on your view of the 'ideal candidate' profile we review each person's psychometric profile and advise you on 'fit'.

No psychometric instrument can measure individual characteristics with 100% accuracy. It is therefore important that the psychometric assessment is used in conjunction with the interview process.

New Frontiers produces a report on each candidate outlining the following:

  • Personality profile
  • Myers Briggs Team type
  • Leadership behaviours
  • Potential sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction in terms of both job context and job content
  • A summary of potential strengths and limitations against managerial competencies
To aid the interview process the report also includes suggested open-ended questions to be asked against all the potential strengths and limitations that have been identified. Finally each candidate is given the opportunity to receive feedback on their assessments in line with good practice.
