Organisational change through behavioural change.
Effective and long-lasting organisational change is only achieved from and through people. And then only by changing the way they behave. In our experience peoples' behaviours reflect that of their leaders. Thus the key element in our model of organisational change is the behaviour of leaders. And by leaders, we mean all those who have influence within the organisation, both formally and informally, not just those in positions of authority in the organisational hierarchy. p>
Model the behaviour you want.
To achieve change these leaders must themselves constantly model the desired behaviours, ensure they walk the talk and appreciate that when employees struggle with change it is a reflection on the leader's capability to model and communicate the appropriate behaviours effectively and consistently rather than any failure on the part of employees. p>
